Thank You for your Support!!!!!

The stewardship councils in Elgin Middlesex and Perth counties are fortunate to have the support of many individuals, businesses and organizations to help plan and implement their respective events.  This local ownership has been one of the keys to our success since the first event was held in 2005.  In total there have been many partners that have contributed their time, expertise, equipment and/or financial resources as follows:

Elgin County

Middlesex County

Perth County

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP AND THE SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTION THAT YOU HAVE MADE TO PRESRVING OUR HUNTING HERITAGE!!!!!!!!!

When planning your event, consider all the local resources including individuals, businesses, conservation groups and even the participants to help support your events. Your planning committee should know who they are. Make sure they are invited to your event as well.

You will be amazed how the hunting community is represented throughout your community and how much they want an event like this to be a success. Don’t stop here, as there are just as many community interests that may not be hunters, but will see the value in an event like this that teaches youth about biodiversity, stewardship and the natural world.

Finally, make sure all your supporters are recognized at your event. This could include listing their names on a partnership sign and/or part of your presentations at the end of the event. As well, be sure that everyone knows to support them as part of their day to day business in the community.
